江戸切子の技術を応用し、ガラスの空き瓶をバングルにするSDGs時代の新たなプロダクト「GLASS-LAB NEW PRODUCT “WA”」が予約販売開始。本プロダクトは東京都主催、東京手仕事の普及促進支援対象商品に決定しました。

1950年創業、椎名硝子加工所の流れを汲む硝子加工業です。兄弟の祖父、椎名三男は江戸切子を始めあらゆる硝子加工に精通。父であり二代目である椎名康夫は日本でも10人程度しかいない「平切子」の職人。そして職人として三代目である椎名康之は「サンドブラスト」を得意としており、技術を磨いた結果0.09ｍｍという極細の線までであれば確実に描く事ができます。 GLASS-LABは、二つの技術を組み合わせ江戸切子の新たな可能性を探求しております。
　本作品は東京都主催の東京手仕事にてマッチングされたデザイナー、 design shop YU藤田優惟子によるデザインを弊社GLASS-LAB株式会社にて加工したものです。
